What is "hypnotism"?
Hypnotism refers to the practice of causing a state of deep relaxation and increased focus, known as hypnosis, in which individuals are more willing to accept suggestions. A trained hypnotist helps a person enter this state using techniques such as verbal signals, relaxation exercises, and mental imagery. Once in hypnosis, individuals may experience enhanced concentration, relaxation, and openness to suggestions aimed at addressing various issues such as stress, anxiety, pain management, and behavior changes. Hypnotism is used as a mental health treatment technique by qualified practitioners to help mental well-being and personal development.
