BASE jumping is an extreme sport where participants jump from fixed objects such as buildings, bridges, cliffs, or towers, using a parachute to break their fall. Unlike traditional skydiving, BASE jumping involves much lower altitudes, and the parachute is deployed almost immediately after jumping.
