What is "korfball"?
Korfball is a team sport played on a rectangular court with two teams of eight players each. The objective is to score points by shooting a ball into a tall basket, called a korf, which is placed at each end of the court. The game is played with a mix of men and women on each team, and players can only defend or attack in certain areas. Teams pass the ball to each other, trying to create opportunities to score while defending against the other team. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. Korfball emphasizes teamwork and skillful passing.
