What is "carrom"?
Carrom is a popular indoor board game played on a square wooden board with four corner pockets. The game involves two to four players, who use a striker to flick small, round pieces called carrom men into the pockets. Players take turns using the striker, which is flicked with a finger, to hit their pieces, either white or black, into the pockets. The goal is to pocket all of one's pieces before the opponent. The game also includes a queen piece, which must be pocketed and "covered" by another piece to score.
