Plant-based describes products primarily or exclusively derived from plants, avoiding animal ingredients.Plant-based diets focus on vegetables, whole grains, legumes and fruits, excluding or minimizing meat, dairy and eggs.Plant-based milk alternatives made from plants like soy, almonds and oats offer non-dairy options, while plant-based meat alternatives crafted from soy, peas, wheat and potatoes mimic the taste and texture of animal meat.
