Who is a "trucker"?
A trucker is a person who drives a large truck to transport goods over long distances. The term is often used informally to refer to truck drivers. Truckers are responsible for operating the truck safely, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring that the goods are delivered on time. They usually drive long hours and may spend several days or weeks on the road. Truckers often work for companies or as independent contractors, and they are required to have the proper license to drive large vehicles, such as a commercial driver’s license (CDL).
