What is "drypoint"?
Drypoint is a printmaking technique where an image is directly scratched or etched into a metal or acrylic plate using a sharp tool. The plate is then pressed onto paper, transferring the ink and producing a print. This method creates rich, textured lines and is valued for its unique, hand-crafted quality.
