What is "sacrum"?
The sacrum is a triangular-shaped bone formed by the fusion of five vertebrae known as the sacral vertebrae, located at the base of the spine, between the two pelvic bones. It acts as a strong foundation for the vertebral column and helps transmit the weight of the upper body to the lower limbs.
