To prepare coffee using a jebena, finely ground coffee beans are mixed with water and sometimes spices such as cardamom or cloves in the pot. The mixture is then heated over a charcoal or electric stove until it reaches a near-boiling point, allowing the flavors to infuse. Once brewed, the coffee is poured from the spout into small cups.
