What is "amenorrhoea"?

Amenorrhea is the absence of menstrual periods in a woman of reproductive age. It can be classified into two types: primary amenorrhea, where a girl has not started menstruating by the age of sixteen, and secondary amenorrhea, where a woman who previously had regular periods stops menstruating for three or more months.
