Characterization
What is "characterization"?
Characterization is the technique used by actors to create and portray a distinct character in a performance. This involves developing a character's personality, mannerisms, voice, and behavior to make them believable and compelling. Through careful study of the script and role, and by using various acting techniques, an actor shapes how their character interacts with others and responds to situations, thus bringing the character to life on stage or screen.
