What is "wicketkeeping"?
Wicketkeeping in cricket is the role of the player who stands behind the batter to catch balls that are not hit. This player, known as the wicketkeeper, is responsible for stopping balls that pass the batter and trying to get the batter out in various ways, such as by catching a ball or stumping them if they are out of their crease. The wicketkeeper must be quick, alert, and have good reflexes, as they need to react fast to balls coming from the bowler, especially when attempting to dismiss the batter. It is a key role in the team.
