What is a "goal kick"?
A goal kick in soccer is awarded when the ball crosses the goal line without a goal being scored and was last touched by a player from the attacking team. The defending team takes the kick from within their penalty area, typically from the edge of the goal box. What is a "interception"?
A goal kick in rugby happens when the ball is kicked by the defending team from their goal area after the attacking team kicks the ball over the goal line, but does not score.
