What is a "bracer"?
A bracer is a protective arm or wrist guard worn in various sports or activities to shield the forearm or wrist from injury. It is commonly made from durable materials like leather, plastic, or fabric and is worn to prevent abrasions, impacts, or strains. In archery, for example, a bracer is worn on the inner part of the forearm to protect it from the string of the bow during shooting. In other sports or activities, bracers can help stabilize and protect vulnerable areas, allowing for better performance and safety during movement.
