01
a music recording that contains more tracks than a single but fewer tracks than a full album
What is an "EP"?
An EP, or extended play, is a type of music release that is longer than a single but shorter than a full album, typically containing a few tracks, usually between three and five. EPs are often used by artists to showcase new material, provide a preview of an upcoming album, or offer a collection of songs that do not fit into a standard album format. They can be released in various formats, including digital, CD, or vinyl.
