What is a "daypack"?

A daypack is a small to medium-sized backpack that is designed for day-long outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling, or climbing. It usually has a capacity of between 10 and 30 liters, and features a lightweight design with comfortable shoulder straps and a padded back panel to distribute the weight of the load evenly. Daypacks often have a variety of compartments and pockets to help organize gear and essentials, such as water bottles, snacks, first aid kits, and extra clothing. Some daypacks may also feature additional features such as hydration reservoirs or built-in rain covers to protect gear from the elements.
