a device on a vehicle that flashes to signal the intention of the driver to change lanes or make a turn
What is a "blinker"?
A blinker is a light on a vehicle that flashes to signal a turn or lane change. It helps communicate to other drivers the intent of the vehicle's driver, increasing safety on the road. The blinker is usually activated by a lever or switch near the steering wheel, and it blinks on and off until it is turned off manually or automatically once the turn or lane change is completed. It is an important part of the vehicle's signaling system.
