Tanga
[NOUN]What is a "tanga"?
A tanga is a traditional piece of clothing worn by men in some African and Middle Eastern countries. The latter is a loose-fitting garment that covers the lower half of the body and is typically made from lightweight fabrics. The tanga is often worn as an everyday garment and is particularly popular in hot and humid climates. It can be paired with a variety of different tops and is often worn with sandals or other open-toed shoes. In some cultures, the tanga is also worn as a symbol of cultural identity or as a form of religious dress.
