What is "snorkel diving"?
Snorkel diving is an activity where a person swims near the surface of the water while using a snorkel, a mask, and sometimes fins to observe underwater life. Unlike scuba diving, it does not require an air tank, as the snorkel allows breathing while floating face down. Some snorkel divers take deep breaths and dive briefly to get a closer look at marine life before resurfacing.
