Semitrailer
01
a trailer pulled by a truck that supports itself on the truck's rear axle, not having its own front axle
What is a "semitrailer"?
A semitrailer is a type of trailer that is designed to be attached to a truck, with only one end supported by the vehicle pulling it. The other end rests on the ground or is supported by a set of wheels. Semitrailers are commonly used for transporting goods over long distances, as they can carry large amounts of cargo. Unlike full trailers, semitrailers do not have a front support and are dependent on the truck for stability and support.
