What is a "repechage"?
Repechage is a system used in some sports competitions to give participants a second chance after losing an initial match or round. It allows competitors who did not win in the early stages to have another opportunity to qualify for the final rounds. This system is often used in tournaments like wrestling, rowing, and judo, where losing in the first round does not necessarily eliminate a participant from the entire competition.
