Who is a "provost"?
A provost is a senior university administrator responsible for overseeing the academic affairs of the institution. They work closely with deans, faculty, and other leaders to develop and implement academic policies, programs, and curricula. The provost plays a key role in ensuring that the university's academic mission is carried out effectively and that students receive a high-quality education.
