What is an "onager"?
An onager is a wild ass native to Central Asia. It is a medium-sized equid with a sandy brown coat, a black stripe down its back, and a white belly. Onagers live in deserts, grasslands, and other arid habitats, where they feed on tough vegetation and can go long periods without water. They are known for their speed and agility and can reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour.
