What is "keg"?

A keg is a container that is used to store and dispense beer. It is typically made of metal, such as aluminum or stainless steel, and comes in a variety of sizes ranging from small, portable kegs to large, industrial-sized kegs. Kegs are commonly used in bars, restaurants, and at parties as a convenient way to serve beer to large groups of people. The beer is stored inside the keg, which is pressurized with carbon dioxide or nitrogen gas to keep the beer fresh and carbonated. When a tap or faucet is opened, the gas pressure forces the beer out of the keg and through the tap, allowing it to be dispensed into a glass or mug.
