What is a "redstart"?

A redstart is a small songbird with striking plumage, featuring a predominantly grayish-brown body, a bright orange-red tail, and patches of orange or reddish color on its breast and face. This species is known for its distinctive habit of flicking its tail while perched or in flight. Redstarts are typically found in woodland areas where they forage insects and spiders, and their melodious song adds a delightful element to the natural soundscape.
