Who is a "designer"?
A designer is a professional who creates original and unique designs for clothing, accessories, or footwear. They typically work for fashion houses, and retail brands, or operate their own fashion labels. Fashion designers are responsible for every aspect of the design process, including creating sketches, selecting fabrics and colors, choosing trims and embellishments, and overseeing the production process.
