an email feature that allows you to send a copy of a message to recipients without revealing their identities to others
What is "BCC"?
BCC stands for "blind carbon copy" and is used in emails to send a copy of the message to recipients without other recipients knowing. When someone is added to the BCC field, their email address is hidden from everyone else receiving the email. This is useful when sending an email to a large group, allowing recipients to remain private. BCC helps keep email addresses confidential while still sharing the message with multiple people.
Example
I sent the newsletter to the team using BCC to keep everyone's email addresses private.
I accidentally forgot to use BCC when emailing a large group, and now everyone can see each other's email addresses.
