What is a "gas tank"?
A gas tank is a container in a vehicle used to store fuel, such as gasoline or diesel, that powers the engine. It is usually located beneath the vehicle, either at the rear or sometimes under the front. The gas tank holds the fuel until it is needed by the engine to run the vehicle. It is designed to safely store fuel and prevent leaks, with a cap that seals the opening to avoid spillage and keep the fuel secure.
