Where is "North Hollywood"?
North Hollywood, often abbreviated as NoHo, is a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California. It is located north of the Hollywood Hills and east of Burbank, with its central area centered around Lankershim Boulevard and the North Hollywood Metro Station. Once an agricultural area, North Hollywood later developed into a working class suburb before revitalizing in the 1990s and 2000s, becoming known for its arts district, theaters, galleries, and live music venues. The abbreviation "NoHo" was coined as a branding effort inspired by Manhattan's SoHo and NoHo neighborhoods.
