What is a "paper street"?
A paper street is a road or street that appears on maps or property plans but does not actually exist or is not yet built. It is usually shown on official documents or city layouts as part of a proposed development, but in reality, it might not be constructed due to various reasons, such as changes in plans or lack of funding. Paper streets can sometimes still affect property ownership or zoning, as they are legally recognized in some areas even though they are not physically present. These streets are often found in older city plans or subdivisions that were never fully developed.
