What is "field lacrosse"?
Field lacrosse is a fast-paced team sport played outdoors where two teams of ten players each compete to score by shooting a small rubber ball into the opposing team's goal using a long-handled stick with a netted pouch. The game is played on a grass or turf field, and each team has a goalie, defenders, midfielders, and attackmen. Players pass, carry, and shoot the ball while also trying to prevent the other team from scoring by checking or defending the ball carrier. The team with the most goals at the end of the match wins.
