What is "korma"?
Korma is a rich and creamy Indian dish that is typically made with meat, vegetables, or paneer (a type of Indian cheese) that have been braised in a spiced yogurt or cream-based sauce. The sauce usually includes a variety of aromatic spices such as cumin, coriander, cardamom, and cinnamon, which are combined with ginger, garlic, and onions to create a flavorful base. Other ingredients such as coconut milk, almonds, or cashews may also be added to give the sauce its characteristic creamy texture.
