Who is a "floor manager"?

A floor manager is a person responsible for overseeing the activities on the set during a live television or radio broadcast. They coordinate the crew, manage the timing of segments, and ensure everything runs smoothly during the production. Floor managers communicate with the director, camera operators, and other staff to make sure that all tasks, such as camera movements or scene changes, are done at the right time.
