Volvulus

abnormal twisting of the intestines (usually in the area of the ileum or sigmoid colon) resulting in intestinal obstruction

Examples

1. Number six is onchocerca volvulus.

2. Onchocerca volvulus is another roundworm, but this little fella causes onchocerciasis, or river blindness.
