What is the origin and meaning of the word "trade"?
In LGBTQ slang, trade refers to a man who appears heterosexual or masculine but engages in sexual activity with other men. Historically, the term was associated with casual or discreet encounters, sometimes involving men who did not identify as gay. In modern usage, it can also simply refer to an attractive, masculine-presenting man.
