the branch of philosophy concerned with things that exist and can be seen, felt, etc. as opposed to what may actually be their real existence

Examples

1. Phenomenology posits that reality is comprised of phenomena-- events and objects that are perceived by people.

2. Today, however, we are looking at Phenomenology.

3. And in cases of hypnosis, there is a similar phenomenology.

4. In physics, singularity is related to the phenomenology of black holes and the Big Bang itself.
