Spades is a trick-taking card game typically played by four players in two teams of two. The game uses a standard 52-card deck, and the objective is to win as many tricks as possible. Each player bids on how many tricks they believe their team will win, with the team that bids the most becoming the "declarers." Players then take turns playing one card at a time, with the highest card of the leading suit or the trump suit, which is always the Spades suit, winning the trick.
