What is an "accentor"?

An accentor is a small, sparrow-like bird in the family Prunellidae that is found mainly in mountainous regions of Eurasia. They have plump, rounded body with short wings and a short tail. Accentors are ground-dwelling birds that feed on insects and seeds, often foraging in rock crevices or undergrowth.
