What is a "capybara"?
Capybaras are the largest rodents in the world, known for their semi-aquatic lifestyle and social behavior. They are native to South America and are often found in densely vegetated areas near rivers, lakes, and swamps. Capybaras have a stocky build with short legs, a barrel-shaped body, and a large head. They are covered in coarse, dense fur that can range in color from reddish-brown to dark brown. They are social animals, living in groups called "herds" or "mobs" that can consist of dozens of individuals, and are known for their peaceful and cooperative behavior. Capybaras are herbivores, primarily grazing on grasses and aquatic plants, and play an important role in their ecosystems as both consumers and prey for predators.
