A cash game is a type of poker game where players gamble real money on each hand, with the amount they bet and win based on the chips they have in front of them. Unlike tournament poker, where players start with a fixed amount of chips and compete until one player has all the chips, cash games allow players to buy in for more chips at any time and leave the game whenever they choose. The blinds or antes, which are forced bets, remain constant, and each hand is played for real money. The player who wins the pot collects the money from all the players who bet during that hand.
