What is a "dallah"?

A dallah is a traditional Arabic coffee pot used in the Arabian Peninsula and surrounding regions to prepare and serve Arabic coffee. Made of brass, copper, or stainless steel, it features a distinct shape with a long spout, wide bottom, and hinged lid, often adorned with intricate designs or decorative elements. To brew Arabic coffee, finely ground coffee beans, water, and sometimes cardamom are simmered in the dallah until fragrant and flavorful. The brewed coffee is then poured from the long spout into small cups, typically served without sugar and accompanied by dates or sweets.
