What is a "remaindered book"?
A remaindered book is a book that has been unsold and is typically offered at a reduced price to clear out inventory. These books are often from overstock or unsold copies that did not sell during their initial release period. Publishers or retailers may discount remaindered books significantly to make space for new titles or to recover some of the production costs. Despite the lower price, remaindered books are still new and in good condition, though they might be marked with a remainder mark, such as a black line or sticker on the edges of the pages.
