What is "craps"?
Craps is a popular dice game played in casinos, where players bet on the outcome of the roll or a series of rolls of two six-sided dice. The game is typically played on a large table with a variety of betting options. The first roll of the dice is called the "come-out roll." If the shooter, which is the person rolling the dice, rolls a 7 or 11, the player wins, while a roll of 2, 3, or 12 results in a loss. If any other number is rolled, it becomes the "point," and the goal is to roll that same number again before rolling a 7 to win. Players can make different types of bets based on these rolls, but the basic idea is to predict the outcome of the dice rolls.
