What is "court piece"?

Court piece is a trick-taking card game typically played by four players in two partnerships using a standard 52-card deck. The goal is to win more tricks than the opposing team. Players are dealt 13 cards each, and the game begins with a bidding phase, where players bid to determine the trump suit. The player with the highest bid declares the trump suit, which beats all other suits.
