What is "whiskey"?
Whiskey, also known as whisky, is a distilled spirit that is made from fermented grains, such as barley, corn, rye, or wheat. The grains are mashed, fermented, and then distilled to create a clear, high-proof spirit that is then aged in oak barrels.
