What is "counseling"?
Counseling is a professional service provided by trained individuals, often called counselors or therapists, who offer guidance, support, and advice to help individuals address personal, social, or psychological challenges. Counselors use various techniques, such as active listening, empathy, and cognitive-behavioral approaches, to help people in understanding their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Counseling aims to encourage personal growth, improve mental well-being, and enhance skills in dealing with life's challenges.
