What is "disc golf"?
Disc golf is a sport where players throw a flying disc, or frisbee, toward a series of target baskets placed around a course, aiming to complete each hole in the fewest throws possible. The course typically consists of 18 or 9 holes, and each hole starts from a designated starting area. Like traditional golf, the goal is to navigate the course, avoiding obstacles such as trees and rough terrain, while trying to reach the target basket in as few throws as possible. Players must follow specific rules regarding the throw and the way they advance along the course, with the lowest total score winning.
