What is a "net shot"?
A net shot in tennis or badminton is a shot where the ball or shuttlecock is hit lightly and travels just over the net, landing close to it on the opponent's side. The goal is to make it difficult for the opponent to reach or return the shot due to its low height and placement. Net shots are often used to surprise the opponent, especially when they are positioned far from the net, and require precise control to avoid the ball or shuttlecock hitting the net. It is a skillful way to score points by placing the ball in hard-to-reach areas.
