Trictrac is an ancient two-player board game, similar to backgammon, that was popular in Europe during the Middle Ages. The game is played on a board divided into 24 spaces, with each player having 15 pieces. Players take turns rolling dice to move their pieces along the board, aiming to get all of their pieces to the home area first. The game involves a mix of strategy and luck, as players can block their opponent’s pieces or land on spaces that allow them to capture an opponent's piece.
