What is a "garden bed"?
A garden bed is a prepared area of soil where plants are grown. It is usually raised or slightly dug into the ground to provide a space for flowers, vegetables, herbs, or shrubs. Garden beds are designed to improve soil drainage and make it easier to plant, maintain, and harvest crops or plants. They are often separated by paths or borders to keep the plants organized. Garden beds can be small or large and are commonly found in backyards or community gardens.
